Sublime Text 3 plugins – Lots of plugins won’t make you a superman

Recently, the newly Sublime Text 3 is just around the corner. It has been years I have digged into its creativity world.

The rich API of ST cultivated so many wonderful plugins, but intall lots of plugins won’t make you a superman, we should learn to reduce the noise of this buzzing world. Therefore, my recommendation will focus on the most pure and down-to-earth plugins that just work.

Some of the ST2 plugins should change to the ST3 corresponding branch to make it work properly.

  • Cursor Ruler

A plugin for the Sublime Text editor which marks the current cursor position using dynamic rulers.

  • Bracket Highlighter

Bracket and tag highlighter for Sublime Text.

  • SideBar Enhancements

Provides enhancements to the operations on Sidebar of Files and Folders for Sublime Text.

Because, to me most time ST3 is just a web development tool, I personally installed some other tools may work only with some specified situations. They can be easy found via google:

  • emmet-sublime
  • sublime-text-refactor
  • sublime-better-coffeescript
  • sass-bundle
  • sublime-jsdocs
  • ColorPicker

Here I also list some plugins that I prefer my manual operation:

  • Package control
  • Prefixr
  • Sublime Linter
  • Git
  • JS Beautify
